Who We Are
Community First Institute (CFI) is a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring leadership begins with the needs of the community. We provide youth, professionals, and aspiring leaders with training, mentorship, civic education, and voter engagement resources that strengthen the fabric of our democracy.

Our Approach
Educate & Engage:
Partner with schools and youth organizations to provide civic education, expand voter registration, and deliver nonpartisan voter education that empowers students and communities.
Develop & Mentor:
Build leadership pipelines and mentorship opportunities that prepare young professionals and Black women for service in boardrooms and elected offices.
Amplify & Advocate:
Host forums, town halls, and grassroots initiatives that uplift community voices and drive change.
